Chatter

Once you discover the silence within, you begin to become very aware of the chatter and noise outside of you....

Of course it would be easy to find peace if we went alone to the mountain tops ..peace from the external distractions of course- but what about peace from the inner voice and inner talks?

Do we distract ourselves in our daily lives ( turn on the music/ read the paper/ read a book/ watch TV/ call friends etc) in order to avoid the inner voice and constant chatter? How much quiet time is spend alone?

I spend quiet times alone- in meditation - watching my thoughts and chatter ....coming and going. The thoughts are always there , the trick is to not get attached /react to them, but to just watch them and to know you are not your thoughts.

I spend times with clients and in workshops - listening to life stories and hearing their frustrating inner chatter.
I listen in restaurants and cafes to the constant hum of chatter....

Have you ever stopped and really thought- why is there this constant need to talk? What is the relevance of the conversation I am having? Will this conversation make any difference in my / others lives- will it help me grow/ walk towards my dreams ....or is it just meaningless chatter?

Words are powerful- so stop and listen to the types of conversations you have and with whom.
Spend time with people who make you grow / contribute positively to life / are genuinely positive about life.....avoid at all costs people who constantly moan and groan / find the negatives in any situation/ are all talk and no action....

Where you put your attention/consciousness, that's where you are .....
Numerous coffees/ lunches/ dinners with little or no purpose ...contribute to the reason many people feel they lack meaning in life.

To find your purpose in life, you need to put your attention onto yourself ! So focus your time and effort on going inwards ,chat less and most importantly ... listen .........just sit and deeply listen and your life purpose/passion will be revealed.

The inner stillness and silence is too beautiful to describe in words- so no need to chat - just go within and experience it!!

With my love and blessings, Sally
