A Reiki Student Shares her Experience

Lisa is a Reiki Student who has recently completed her Reiki Master training with me at SoulCentre Academy.

It is always wonderful to hear the personal stories of how Reiki has supported and changed peoples perspective of life.

Lisa is now giving Reiki therapies to her own clients and finds that they too get amazing results.

This is her story of Reiki and her life, so enjoy!!

Anyone can learn Reiki .....and once you do, you really wish you had done it earlier!

It simply is amazing, easy to learn and works!

Love and gratitude Sally

A Different Perspective

From my very first Reiki attunement my outlook changed. The world seemed crisper, more clear. The nature surrounding me seemed to draw my attention more than it had before. The world seemed to be passing at a slightly slower pace, one where I could appreciate what was going on. It was almost like I’d taken a step back to get a clearer view. This feeling got more intense as I progressed through my Reiki attunements until, following Reiki Master, the world made sense in a different way.

It is difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced Reiki but I will try to do so for those (until now) uninitiated into the joys of Reiki.

As an expat wife living away from home my life, essentially, would be considered “easy” however it is not always easy to live in another country away from family and adapting to a new country with different cultures and/or beliefs. I didn’t have the worries of cleaning my house but I had other duties and thoughts that kept my mind busy.

Prior to Reiki, I was a fairly calm, organised, and contemplative person. I still possess qualities now that I have embraced Reiki into my life but they have altered slightly.

My calmness is more calm; a calmness from within would probably best describe it. Life’s irks are less challenging. They are accepted and have less value placed on them. I hope that makes sense.

I am still organised – that will never change – but the importance of the organisation has shifted. I organise tasks and objects with a different sense of purpose. They are done to benefit my life, and others, not simply because they need to be that way. My contemplation of life has taken on a grander view. Reiki seems to bring the whole world into focus. You’re less aware of yourself and the space that your life occupies. Your outlook changes to a global focus. And I don’t just mean in the sense that you see the bigger picture (we can all do that at times), Reiki gives it all more purpose and meaning. The world comes together in a more connected way.

I hope this isn’t sounding too supernatural? Honestly, Reiki is one of those things – you really have to experience it to get the “ah ha” moment.

As a therapist of Reiki, it is constantly heart-warming and joyous to instantly see the benefits of Reiki for another person. My clients are often surprised by the extent to which they respond to the light touch of Reiki. From emotional releases, to pain relief, to clarity of mind – but mostly, for the calmness and serenity they feel after a session.

If you are considering learning to be a Reiki therapist, I whole-heartedly recommend it.

If you are considering having Reiki therapy – please don’t hesitate, book a session today!

It is an amazing, wonderful experience that you will enjoy and receive great benefit from.
