The Benefits of REIKI

Every morning when I wake up- my first thought is how blessed I am to have Reiki in my life.
Reiki can be used in every moment of life and brings with it so many blessings.

Having taught thousands of students Reiki , there is certainly a common theme in their experiences

I group them into the 4 main categories ;

Today I will focus on the Physical Benefits

Students with any dis-ease , see a change almost immediately in their body awareness and routines. Many students report a moving away from foods and drinks that their body no longer needs. After all , our eating and drinking habits are conditioned from childhood and our surroundings.
So there is a new awareness developed , and foods that are too stimulating , or foods that do not agree with our bodies , tend to be left behind.
This may be for a temporary period , in order for the body to heal , or it may be for a longer / more permanent period of time .
For example ,my own personal experience is a move away from coffee and strong alcohol.

Its almost as if the "desire " is no longer there and this is for the reason of healing of the body / mind/ emotions.

I remember fondly one student from Singapore , who in class said that she really hoped she would not move away from any foods as her favourite treat is tea and cream cakes !
And ...guess what happened ...the next time she want for afternoon tea, she thoroughly enjoyed the tea, but found no desire to touch the cakes ...:)

So I really believe at a deeper level, the body knows / has innate wisdom about what is needed , and indeed what is not needed .
Our issue is we are not in tune with our bodies, or worse still we do not listen .

My advice to students - just listen to your body - if you genuinely want to eat a certain food then do so . Similarly if you look at a food and have no desire to eat it - then simply respect your body and resist.

Your body knows how to heal - so simply listen - and use Reiki to support the process.

I send you my love and gratitude
Sally
