I watched the movie "sex in the city" today ...and smiled at the characters portrayed in it.
It made me think about the external and internal worlds.
How many of us seek approval and acceptance from the external world?
We want the right brand / right image for everything that we do..everything must be perfect and fit in with society norms....thus we seek approval and identity from others as a result.
Its as if life becomes an external show - and we forget the real meaning of our lives.
How many of us can give up the need for external approval? As long as we seek approval from others- we are being someone else!
By going within, we become self referred.
We are free to be who we really are !
We follow our heart and do what is right for us. We decide who we are and what we stand for.
Become happy with yourself - know that all is OK just as you are ...and keep your happiness firmly in your own hands and not in the hands of others.
Stay happy, and go within !
